Cherrypal Announces the World’s First $99 Laptop
Cherrypal has done it.
A $99 7″ laptop running Android.
Honestly, for less than 100 bucks, it seems like an ok little ‘netbook’. And it runs Android.
I could see the lack of touch screen maybe being a little clunky with the Android Interface (I have a G1)
Factor in that the Mozilla folks have a Pre-Alpha Release of Firefox for Android and we all expect a completed version soon and for 99 bones, you could… search the web.
A 10 inch screen version of the Android powered laptop is $148
If Cherrypal want to send me one to try out, my address is 4205 Gull Harbor RD NE Olympia, WA 98506
